KJ Dillard releases bold new EP ‘NO SIGNAL’, out now.

Phoenix-born artist KJ Dillard has officially released their highly anticipated new EP NO SIGNAL, available everywhere today, April 18. Marking a major milestone in the rising artist’s journey, NO SIGNAL captures a period of growth, experimentation, and cross-cultural influence—melding genres and experiences into a sound that feels both fresh and deeply personal.

Recorded between New York and Los Angeles, NO SIGNAL is Dillard’s first project created entirely outside of their hometown in Phoenix, AZ. The shift in location reflects a broader creative evolution—one that embraces vulnerability, reinvention, and the impact of new surroundings. “NO SIGNAL’s composition is similar, but different to the production I am used to,” KJ explains. “I took inspiration from living in America and Europe. Creating this project was an eye-opening experience that I could not have been more thankful for, and I hope that people from all backgrounds get a chance to listen to it!

Blending raw emotion with a unique fusion of hip-hop, rap, punk, alternative, and indie, the EP pushes past the boundaries of genre while retaining the DIY ethos and lyrical honesty that Dillard is known for. The tracks touch on themes of disconnection, identity, and the quest for clarity in a noisy world—resonating with a generation seeking meaning in chaos.

Each song on NO SIGNAL feels like a different frequency—one moment raging with distorted guitars and high-octane energy, the next pulling back into introspective lyricism and atmospheric textures. It’s a bold departure from Dillard’s earlier work, but one that feels like a natural progression: edgier, more self-assured, and undeniably dynamic.

As Dillard steps into this next era, NO SIGNAL stands as a statement of intent: genre-fluid, globally inspired, and unapologetically authentic. With critical attention already bubbling and a growing fanbase across platforms, today’s release is more than just an EP drop—it’s a declaration that KJ Dillard is here, and they’ve got something to say.

NO SIGNAL is available now on all major streaming platforms.
